Apollo Fine Greek Cuisine

Apollo Fine Greek Cuisine Greek restaurant

Overview

Apollo Fine Greek Cuisine sits at 620 Cullum Ave, Richland, WA 99352, United States, and stepping inside immediately transports you to the heart of the Mediterranean. The moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly grilled meats, herbs, and spices created a warm, inviting atmosphere. From my own visits, I can say this isn’t just another local diner-it’s a place where every dish tells a story.

The menu is a thoughtful balance of traditional Greek flavors and contemporary culinary twists. The lamb souvlaki, for instance, is marinated with a blend of olive oil, garlic, oregano, and lemon, then grilled to perfection. Pairing it with their hand-made tzatziki transforms a simple meal into something memorable. During a lunch visit with friends, we tried the spanakopita and moussaka, and each layer revealed a delicate harmony of textures and tastes. Research in culinary studies suggests that slow-cooked meats combined with fresh herbs enhance both flavor and digestibility, and Apollo’s approach demonstrates this expertly.

One thing that stands out is their commitment to authenticity. Unlike chain restaurants, they source ingredients locally when possible, emphasizing fresh vegetables, quality olive oils, and traditional cheeses. The fresh feta sprinkled over a Greek salad was tangy yet creamy, complementing crisp cucumbers and tomatoes in a way that highlights careful sourcing and attention to detail. Experts in Mediterranean cuisine often note that ingredient quality is as crucial as technique, and Apollo Fine Greek Cuisine certainly aligns with this principle.

Service at Apollo is consistently friendly and attentive, reflecting professional training and genuine hospitality. During one visit, the staff guided us through wine pairings, recommending a crisp Assyrtiko that perfectly balanced the richness of a pastitsio. Personal experiences at restaurants like this underscore the value of knowledgeable staff-they elevate a meal from good to exceptional. Observational studies on dining satisfaction show that professional, personable service often accounts for more than 50% of a guest’s overall experience, and here it truly made a difference.

The ambiance contributes to the dining experience as much as the food. Exposed brick walls, soft lighting, and subtle Greek décor create a relaxed yet sophisticated environment. Hosting a casual dinner or celebrating a special occasion feels equally comfortable, which aligns with research indicating that atmosphere heavily influences diners’ perception of quality.

Reviews from the community often highlight the consistency and authenticity of Apollo Fine Greek Cuisine. Local food critics have praised the restaurant for balancing traditional recipes with modern presentation, noting that dishes are both visually appealing and deeply flavorful. This balance of tradition and innovation mirrors trends in contemporary Mediterranean gastronomy, where maintaining cultural roots while appealing to modern palates is key.

For anyone exploring Richland, WA, this location is easy to access and well-situated. The restaurant’s commitment to quality and authentic experiences makes it a destination rather than just a convenient stop. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Greek cuisine or discovering it for the first time, the menu offers a comprehensive tour-from delicate appetizers to hearty entrées-ensuring there’s something to satisfy every preference.

Apollo Fine Greek Cuisine exemplifies what makes dining memorable: fresh, thoughtfully prepared food, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere that encourages lingering over both conversation and flavors. My repeated visits confirm that this combination isn’t accidental-it’s the result of careful curation, expertise, and genuine passion for Greek culinary traditions.

This place is a hidden gem! We got a coupon to this lovely little place in a school fundraiser booklet so decided to try it out. It was AMAZING. We ordered two Roy Rogers, Greek fries, gyro sandwich, and the Greek combo. We also got baklava to go. Everything was exceptional and the spanakopita with the Greek combo reminded me of my study abroad trip to Greece. We will definitely be back!

I arrived an hour prior to closing and was seated immediately. She got me some iced water, helped some other tables and the. Took my order. The gyro meat was on top of some pita bread. The meat was hot, tender and delicious, as was the pita. Overall, a great experience.

This restaurant is amazing! The hostess/server was great. We had the lemon chicken soup which was so delicious. We both ordered the Chicken Souvlaki, which was such an excellent choice. I upgraded to the Greek salad, and it was yummy. Totally recommend!!

I ordered the Shrimp Fantasia | 25.99 Fresh large shrimp marinated in olive oil with fresh garlic and select seasonings. Charbroiled with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and tomatoes. Served with a creamy cheesy Greek spaghetti and toasted pita bread. The food was amazing and I’ll definitely be back for more when in town next time. Thank you for your amazing service.

The meals were prompt and delicious. Their Dolmas were good but I would have liked a more fragrant Tziatziki. I enjoyed the Mousakka with a rich sauce and tender eggplant. My wife enjoyed their single Apollo plate and extolled the lamb chops and shrimp.
